The Breaking

I was gonna write about Τhe Focus and about focusing on goals and achieving them etc...

But it has come to my attention that often times and i myself  tend to forget the equality of failure,of falling down and scraping your knees.Of pain,of things not going so well.Of hard times.

''Hard times built Character''

I see all these motivational speakers on youtube and some of them talk only about the grind and the toughness and the success.I see successful people and the portray a world full of enjoyment.Full of goods.Oh boy whoever believes that this is how things gone is fooling himself.

But where is the yang part of the yin.If the good has come the bad must have happened.Or vice versa.

The latter to personal development,to success,to whatever you set your mind to,must have  steps that break when you step on them with the result of you falling back down the latter.
There is a game with snakes and latters that i always loved to play as a child.
You roll the dice and if you are lucky you will continue into a good path or you will have a snake pin you down and back. It's a great analogy.

Either way the process of THE BREAKING.Of the fall is a natural and much needed process. This happens in so many ways. You have a heartbreak, you lose someone close to you,you change your character, you read a particular book, you have interactions with certain people, you have sex,you watch a movie etc.

In The Dark Knight Rises Bane BREAKS Batman.Only then Batman is able to get back up stronger than before and that way he is able to fight him. Somebody that before he didn't stand a chance.

Oh i love this motif. It has happened in my life time and time again,It has happened to people close to me and i know that it's so important to understand and appreciate it and go through it.It's hard and unbearable at times.I know.

After my greatest year i had my seemingly worst year. But that worst year was the one year that made me the wisest. It wasn't the year where i got all the school knowledge.or became stronger in the gym,or in my relationships.NO.The year of fear, frustration, anxiety and doubt was the year that i was able to find my self,my true power, and re-evaluate things.

Reading Iron John this past few weeks has helped me extremelly.I has affected me in such a great deal that i recommend, especially to us men, to read it.Without saying too much the falling, and in that case the falling into poverty for the young son of the king in our story is something needed for him to grow and become who he is destined to become.

Here in Greece,or actually from greece we have Giannis Antentokoumpo who is having constant success and improvement in the NBA.We are the same age and this dude is on to something great. He is already a great player and i don't want to be biased because of numberous reasons but i think he will be something unbelievable in the next few years.

Either way the point that i want to make here is,Giannis and his family of 6(?) ,for many years didn't have the required card to stay in Greece. Not because they were outlaws but because the Greek Goverment didn't give it to them.Giannis and his brother Thanasis(who is playing at the NBA D-league) had to sell staff at the street, which is something common here in Greece, just to help their family out.
A good day is when they made 10 euros.
A bad day is when they were running from the police.

Do you see it yet? Those boys where broken time and time again until they were able to achieve great feats in basketball and be picked by the NBA.Have you see them play?Especially Giannis.

They are furious. They are angry. They are passionate. They fight for something. They want the best. And they will do their best because they have been at their worst.

Another great example is building muscle or training in general..If you don't break a muscle(techniclly the muscle fibers)while training, then feed yourself and rest you will never grow. Not only physically but mentally aswell. That's why i often talk about the importannce of doing some form of training.

So my friends. If you going through a tough time or if you are having shitty days understand the purpose.Be mindfull of how you react at the situation, grow stronger and wiser through it and trust the way universe is working through you.I know that most of the times that is not easy or wanted.

Happiness and Growth is always in our hands. One way or another.
 The situations aren't.
But that's the beauty of it.Learn the beast way to react to them and you will reap the benefits.

Peace&Love
