In today's era,with the rise of the social media there are more than enough ways for a person to find friends,companions,have fun etc. But although,the amount of social media is rising,with the likes of Facebook,twitter,instagram and many other, people more and more throught the world become more depressed,closed in and afraid of the world. With the recent death of the amazing actor Robin Williams i came to realize that even people with fame,people known all around the world,people who socialize and are always with people tend to feel so lonely and finally take their own life. It saddens me deeply. So my invitation to this current post to you starts like this: Dear,friend You are out there.Don't feel alone .Nobody is trully alone.There are 7 billion people out there.If you feel depressed TALK,SPEAK and let other people know how you feel.Whatever stays inside our mind trasmits the same feelings inside our bodies.And when both mind and body fall(that why depressed people often have bad posture) after a while the soul will fall. How to battle depression: Although certainly i'am not an expert to that matter i have a couple of tips that in my opinion can help a person battle depression. 1.Speak to your close friends,family about what troubles you.Now if you have neither than call a anti-depression line in your country.They will certainly be at your service and will gladly help you. 2.Exercise.It's simple.When you open up the body with all kinds of exercise sooner or later you will start feeling better about yourself,your self-esteem and confidence will go up and with time your mind and soul will open up aswell. 3.Have a balanced livestyle or...STRIVE for one.When we have a program in our life we tend to be more active.Besides we have a lot of things to do.Eat healthy because that will also make you feel better and nourish your body.Sleep well.Lack of sleep can cause a lot of problems as shown in this picture
so with one way or another try to get 6-10 hours of sleep.Walk and breath deep into your balls(refference to Elliot Hulse).That will allow you to be more energetic aswell and calm and grounded. 4.Be mindful of your thoughts,because thoughts become things and things become our actions and our actions becomes our character.Depressed thoughts will become a depressed character.When a crazy thought comes to you try to the best of your abilities to throw it away.Eliminate it.If you can't,call somebody or talk to somebody.A good way to control you thoughts is throught meditation(Google everything you need to know and learn on how to meditate till my post about it comes.) 5.Find a relationship.Spending time with somebody who can mend your heart,help you at your darkest moments will certainly help you battle depression.A person with you will divide the depression and hopefully soon will eliminate it. 6.Socialize: I think that's a very important one.Finding friends and becoming more confident to find new people to hang out with will help you a lot in all aspects of your life.Ditch the social media,sometimes,most of the times they do only harm when we get too attached to them and to the iconic profile we have created.Go out there in the world,which at sometimes can be very cruel,with bravery and start making friends and getting to know people.Parties,clubs,school whatever. Look approachable. Do not cross your arms, this sends an uninviting vibe to someone who may want to come up and talk to you. Look open and inviting with a genuine smile.

Mingle and talk to new people as they arrive. Ask to be introduced, or do it yourself!

Enjoy yourself and show it. Smile, and if you see a person enter who obviously does not know anyone, walk over to them, and bring them over to the group you are talking to.

Avoid discussing obscure interests or work, and stick to conversations everyone can enjoy: Sports, music, festivals, current events, etc. Ask everyone to recommend a favorite restaurant, movie or museum. Keep the conversation light and fun.

Invite others to help you. If you have a guest who's not mingling well, invite them to help you check on the punch or even allow them to help you fix the punch.

Now about depression: Being in a dark place inside our own personal walls is very bad.When we are depressed our whole self shuts down slowly.It's something like a disease eating you away. Don't feel alone.You are not.If it help you are with me.You are a friend of mine even if i don't know.Spending to much time with yourself can sometimes drive you nuts. When you battle depression,aside all the things and tips i tried to give you,the sole most important thing you can do to defeat it is to ask WHY DO YOU WANNA LIVE.Some of you will immediately say i have nothing to live for,i was fired from my job,my family doesn't love me,or my family died and a lot of other things.But in reality that's reasons for you NOT to give up.Your own family would never want to see you take on your own life.And so what if your life sucks and you have nothing. That's OK.Work your way out of it.Make your life awesome.Fuck what anybody says and do what you want. Life is to be lived. Every moment of it,every breath. And desire is the fuel of life.
